Appointments to Outside Bodies

Report of the Assistant Chief Executive (Legal and Democratic Services)

1.0	Purpose of the Report
1.1	To enable appointments to Committees and Outside Bodies to be considered.

2.0        Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust Council of Governors

2.1       There is currently a vacancy on the Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust

Council of Governors.  The position was previously held by County Councillor Heather Moorhouse but she recently stood down as she is a member of the Scrutiny of Health committee and this poses a potential conflict of interest.  It is proposed that County Councillor Roberta Swiers be appointed to this role.

3.0	Recommendation
3.1	That the Executive appoint County Councillor Roberta Swiers to the Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust Council of Governors.
